Book Tag – Book Character Awards 2017

Hi and welcome back to my blog! I’ve always loved books with great characters, and I enjoy making a list of my favourite characters at the end of the year. So I thought, why not make it into an awards tag? I’m also really curious to know who are the favourites of all my bookish friends out there!

1. Favourite Male Character of the Year

Kell from A Darker Shade of Magic – hands down.

2. Favourite Female Character of the Year

Audrey Rose Wadsworth from Stalking Jack the Ripper because she’s such a brave and strong female character.

3. Most Relatable Character of the Year

Victor Vale from Vicious – I really related to his personality and way of thinking!

4. Couple of the Year

Alera and Narian from the Legacy trilogy – I admired how hard they fought for each other despite the many odds!

5. Villain of the Year

The Darkling from the Grisha trilogy, because he’s great at being bad and we hate that we love him.

6. Most Disliked Character of the Year

Radu from And I Darken because he irritated me throughout the book.

7. Royal of the Year

Nikolai from the Grisha trilogy – witty, cunning and overly confident, he’s the perfect royal package.

8. Sidekick / Non Main Character of the Year

Cain from The Dark Heroine – not a well-known series, but as the younger brother of the royal heir, I think he brings a great boyish vibe and refreshing innocence to the story.

9. Sibling of the Year

Kenshin from Flame in the Mist, because of how well he knows his sister and what a great and devoted brother he is.

10. Free Choice Award: create your own award!

My choice – Teacher of the Year

Professor Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter (I don’t know if he will ever not win this award)
